About our grants

We look for projects that deliver practical outcomes for youth and families in Logan. Funding can support one-off initiatives or programs that create sustainable benefit beyond the grant period.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to apply if your organisation is:
  • Operating within, or delivering outcomes within, the City of Logan
  • Providing support or services that benefit the Logan youth and families
  • A charitable organisation with DGR Item 1 status — or willing to be auspiced by an organisation that holds DGR Item 1 status
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine need for funding and a clear plan for how funds will be used

What we look for in strong applications

  • A clear description of community benefit for youth and families in Logan
  • A realistic plan and timeline for delivery
  • A simple budget showing how funds will be allocated
  • A sustainable outcome — what continues or improves after the grant period ends
  • Evidence of genuine need (without sharing sensitive personal details about individuals)

How to Apply

  • Step 1: Read the Grant Guidelines and check your organisation meets the eligibility requirements.
  • Step 2: Prepare your project summary, a simple budget, and the outcomes you expect to achieve.
  • Step 3: Submit the online application form (preferred) or download and complete the PDF form.
  • Step 4: If using the PDF form, email it to enquiries@cityoflogancharitabletrust.org.au before the closing date.
Grant Guidelines

Decision Process

Applications are assessed by the Trust’s Directors against the published eligibility criteria. All applicants are notified in writing of the outcome after the round closes and assessments are complete.
